11 hurt in Sorsogon road crash

LEGAZPI CITY --- A total of 11 persons were hurt when a passenger jeepney collided with a sport utility vehicle on Saturday morning along the road in Barangay Pampang in Sorsogon City, a police report said.

Based on an initial report, Police Maj. Malu Calubaquib said the road crash happened at around 6:04 a.m.

The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital by members of the City and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Emergency Response Team (ERT).

The victims were treated for contusions and other injuries as a result of a vehicular accident. (PNA)
