GSIS head office, branches in MECQ areas temporarily closed until Aug. 18

PASIG CITY, August 10 (PIA) – The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) announced that its head office and branches in areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) will remain temporarily closed until August 18, 2020.

“Due to the implemented Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in NCR, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan and Cavite from August 4 to 18, 2020, the GSIS Head Office and branch offices in said areas will remain closed from August 10 to 18, 2020,” the advisory states.

According to GSIS, all executives and employees of its head office and affected branch offices will continue to function remotely.

“Our online facilities for loans, claims and the Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR) remain available for use of our members and pensioners.”
