Northeast monsoon to bring rains across Luzon Monday

MANILA – Most parts of Luzon will experience rains due to the northeast monsoon, the weather bureau said on Monday.

The tail-end of a frontal system will also bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Quezon, Mindoro provinces, Romblon, Marinduque, and Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Cloudy skies with rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, and the rest of Calabarzon.

Localized thunderstorms will cause isolated rain showers over the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds, moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and Visayas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
