DICT trains brgy. secretaries on digital data management

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Feb. 26 (PIA) - At least eight Barangay Secretaries from the this province’s premier city have undergone the Barangay Records Automation and Management System (BRAM) training of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) - Isabela.

The training aims to enhance the knowledge of barangay secretaries on records automation and management for easier file and data management and easier access.

DICT - Isabela head Cirilo Gazzingan said the DICT aims to digitally transform the data management of barangays to improve the services, data utilization and storage.

He said the department will continue providing trainings to barangay secretaries in the province aside from providing free internet services in various areas of Isabela. (MDCT/MGE/PIA 2-Isabela)
