PNP conducts gun mobile licensing in Vizcaya today

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Feb. 26 (PIA) - The Philippine National Police (PNP) will be conducting a mobile licensing activity for firearm owners and gun enthusiasts in the province today.

Police Colonel Ranser Evasco, Provincial Police chief said the mobile firearm licensing called the License To Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) will be conducted at the Saty's Firing Range in barangay Macate in Bambang town.

"This activity will help our gun owners and enthusiasts in renewing their gun licenses through the services of our LTOPF caravan," he said.

During the LTOPF caravan, firearm applicants can avail of the following services and documents: Neuro-psychiatric clearance, drug test and gun safety seminar certificates.

Evasco said the mobile LTOPF Caravan is being conducted to bring their gun licensing services closer to the gun owners in provinces, municipalities and cities in the country.

"This will help facilitate the renewal of firearm licenses of our gun owners incluidng the new applicants," he added. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
