PASIG CITY, April 21 (PIA) -- The Eastern Police District (EPD) opens up its “EPD PaMaMariSan Pantry” in the light of the ongoing pandemic.

EPD Director PBGen Matthew P. Baccay, through its District Community Affairs and Development Division, initiated its own pantry dubbed as "EPD PaMaMariSan Pantry" installed in front of the EPD Headquarters along Caruncho Avenue, Pasig City.

The pantry contains rice, canned goods, instant noodles, face masks, face shields, Bible, PNP Journal Magazine, among others.

According to EPD, the items are offered free to residents who were severely affected by the recent lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The EPD PaMaMariSan Pantry was inspired by the Maginhawa Community Pantry in Quezon City where people can donate and get items based on their needs especially those who were greatly affected by the pandemic. (PIA NCR)
