Navy trains more contact tracers

PASIG CITY, May 13 (PIA) -- The Philippine Navy, through its Naval Task Force 83, trained more of its personnel to properly conduct contact tracing for COVID-19 case identification.

This, by means of conducting a contact tracing awareness seminar among its personnel on Wednesday at the Bonifacio Naval Station, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The activity aims to equip navy personnel with adequate knowledge and capacity on how to perform proper case identification, isolation, testing and care, contact tracing and quarantine to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The task force likewise continues to provide support to other frontliners by providing logistical support to ensure delivery of needed medical supplies, as well as ensuring peace and order in the metropolis. (PIA NCR)
