PhilSys online registration to open in 14 locations

QUEZON CITY, May 24 (PIA) -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)- Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) will start the gradual opening of the online Step 2 registration beginning in the afternoon of May 24, 2021 across the 14 municipalities, as follows:
 
Ilocos Sur- City of Candon
Ilocos Sur- City of Vigan
La Union- City of San Fernando
Pangasinan- Lingayen
Isabela- Echagu
Nueva Ecija- Science City of Munoz
Camarines Sur- City of Naga
Masbate- City of Masbate
Antique-San Jose
Capiz- City of Roxas
Bohol- Jagna
Cebu- Watch outing
Negros Oriental- City of Dumaguete
Leyte- City of Coast
 
Residents of said 14 municipalities can now book their appointment for the Step 2 registration. Registrants must log in using the email address or mobile number used for Step 1 registration.

Meanwhile,  the opening of online booking in other locations will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) aims to establish a single national ID for all Filipinos and resident aliens that shall be a valid proof of identity that shall be a means to simplifying public and private transaction. (GRC-PIA IDPD)
