As of Monday, data from the national Covid-19 vaccination dashboard showed 53,098,886 Filipinos have received their first dose and a total of 509,944 booster shots and additional doses were given to healthcare workers, senior citizens, and immunocompromised individuals.

The government is also set to hold another round of massive vaccination from Dec. 15 to 17, with an aim of fully inoculating 54 million Filipinos by the end of this year.

National Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) and DOH Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje earlier said similar guidelines will be imposed during the second leg of the Bayanihan, Bakunahan drive.

The Philippines has so far secured 146 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines since February. (PNA)
