Rains continue over parts of Luzon Thursday

MANILA -- Rains will continue to pour over the western section of Luzon due to the southwest monsoon on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan and Batangas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds will blow over the country while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Metro Manila temperature ranges from 25-31 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 17-20 degrees Celsius; SBMA 24-30 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-31 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-32 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
