MisOcc LGU turns over office equipment to DILG

OROQUIETA, Misamis Occidental, Dec. 14 (PIA) -- The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) city and municipal local government operations officers and the provincial office received various office equipment from the Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental.

These include computer sets and accessories, smart TVs, window-type aircon units, office tables, and steel cabinets.

The ceremonial hand over took place on December 14, 2019, at provincial disaster risk reduction management (PDRRM) Office and Habitacion Corporation, Oroquieta City.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Philip Tan during the turnover of office equipment, Provincial Administrator Edemar Alota expressed his heartfelt gratitude to DILG’s assistance to the local government units in the province.

He said the equipment would further enhance the capabilities of DILG officers in doing their work more efficiently.

He also emphasized that through the equipment, the LGU and DILG continue an engaging approach with regards to the operations in the province.

In his response, DILG Provincial Director Pablio Benitez said, “Armed with state-of-the-art ICT equipment, the office operations will be enhanced, thereby serving the interest of the public better.” (PIA 10/ DILG Misamis Occidental)
