Fair weather over PH Friday

MANILA — Most parts of the country will experience generally fair weather with light rains on Friday.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao regions will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the northeast monsoon (amihan).

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered light rains due to northeast monsoon, while the rest of the country will be cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of southern Luzon and eastern portion of Southern Luzon and the Visayas will experience strong winds from the northeast resulting in rough coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 22-31°C; Tuguegarao City, 19-29°C; Baguio City, 11-23 °C; SBMA, 23-31°C; Lipa City 23-31°C; Metro Cebu, 24-29°C; and Metro Davao, 24-30°C. (PNA)
