DAR Siquijor distributes 1,500 ARB IDs to farmer beneficiaries
SIQUIJOR, May 2 (PIA) -- A total of 1,500 Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB) IDs have been distributed in the Province of Siquijor from April 22 to 24, 2020.
Designate Information Officer Renee Sitchon of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in the province said the distribution of ARB IDs was facilitated by its field personnel.
The distribution is in line with Memorandum Circular No. 4 of DAR Secretary John Castriciones issued April 2, 2020.
The issuance of IDs to the farmer beneficiaries is in response to the current national health emergency measures arising from the COVID-19 pandemic in facilitating their access to various government assistance especially during the strict implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
