Fair weather on Monday as ‘Ambo’ leaves PAR

MANILA – Fair, warm and humid weather will prevail over the whole archipelago on Monday.

Ariel Rojas, a weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said the low-pressure area (LPA), formerly "Ambo", may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the afternoon.

PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that may affect the country in the next three to five days, he added.

Luzon will experience a warm and humid condition, especially in the afternoon, according to Rojas.

The same weather condition will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao. Localized thunderstorms may likely occur in the whole country in the afternoon or at night.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over Northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
