Pasig LGU to supplemental SAP beneficiaries: Bring proof of identity when availing subsidy

PASIG CITY, May 9 (PIA) -- The Pasig City Government today reminded resident beneficiaries what to bring when availing of the city’s supplemental social amelioration program (SAP).

According to the city government, beneficiaries must prepare a valid ID and photo copy (xerox) of it. The city government encouraged residents to coordinate with their barangays for a photo copy of their ID.

If no ID is available, the beneficiary can present a barangay certificate instead.

Earlier this week, the city government has started the distribution of P8,000 cash assistance the city’s supplemental SAP to help other families in the city who were not listed in the national government’s social amelioration program.

Pasig City on Tuesday started the distribution of its P8,000 cash assistance under its localized version of the SAP for families in the city that did not receive financial aid from the national government.

The city government targets to provide cash assistance to around 160,000 families amid the enhanced community quarantine.

The city government has also allotted over P1 billion for the supplemental SAP. (PIA-NCR)
