Taguig prepares residents for 'new normal' with TECTOC

PARANAQUE CITY, June 26 (PIA) -- Taguig residents may still improve their skills in spite of the constraints brought about by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The City Government of Taguig is offering web-based learning program called Training and Enrichment Courses from Taguig Online Campus (TECTOC). 

TECTOC is a program under Taguig Online Resources and Community Hub (TORCH), that offerslearning  opportunities for technical growth for the resident of Taguig.

Interested parties can visit the website taguiginfo.com. to register, just click on the TORCH program, then click register for TECTOC.

Applicants must fill out the form, and choose their desired course under the project management category.  TECTOC offers 250-plus certificate courses for trainees. 

The City Government of Taguig  partnered with Skillsoft, a global leader in quality, innovative and cloud-based learning for the project.  Skillsoft is trusted organizations such as TELUS, Toyota, DATACOM, CGI, and many more.   

TORCH was launched on April 27 to help residents prepare for the new normal after the lifting of the community quarantine. TORCH also implements  training for educators, open campus for professionals, online resource hub for seniors, resource page for businesses. (Taguig PIO/PIA-NCR)
