Pasig LGU imposes localized ECQ in 4 streets of Brgy. Manggahan due to COVID-19 cases
PASIG CITY, July 20 (PIA) – The city government of Pasig on Sunday strictly implemented a localized enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in four streets in the city due to increasing number of positive COVID-19 cases in the area.
According to the Pasig Public Information Office (PIO), the localized ECQ took effect Sunday evening (July 19) in the streets of Pipino, Labanos, Okra and Ubas in Napico, Brgy. Manggahan until lifted by the city government.
Earlier, the city government informed the residents that only those leaving for work and emergency purposes will be allowed outside. Food packs were also distributed by the city government to minimize the need of buying food outside.
Based on Pasig City’s COVID-19 cases monitoring report as of July 19, 2020, there is a total of 1,286 confirmed cases in the city with 514 active cases, with 675 recovered cases and 97 death cases. (Pasig PIO/PIA-NCR)
