PASIG CITY, April 30 (PIA) – Serving free hot meals to the less fortunate, the mobile kitchen of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) rolled out to Malabon City on Wednesday.

AFP personnel, together with the volunteer chefs of Rotary Club, prepared and served hot meals to disadvantaged individuals and families of Barangay Tañong for its third leg.

Culinary trained soldiers onboard two military kitchen trucks tagged as “Vessels of Blessings” prepared the meals while support personnel delivered them to designated drop-off points.

The activity under the AFP’s “Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko” campaign led by the Civil Relations Service AFP, supports of the overall government effort to assist affected citizens during the enhanced community quarantine in the NCR and Luzon.

Previously, the mobile kitchen also served hundreds of hot meals to families and individuals in Quezon City and San Juan City. (AFP/PIA-NCR)
