At least 54 injured in C. Luzon, E. Visayas due to ‘Ambo’

MANILA – The number of persons injured in the aftermath of Typhoon Ambo has reached 54, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

The injured persons were reported in Central Luzon and Eastern Visayas, the agency said in its update released Sunday night.

Also, a total of 25,474 families or 82,563 persons were affected in 59 cities and municipalities in eight provinces in the regions of Calabarzon, Eastern Visayas, and Cordillera.

Twelve structures were reported damaged in Bicol and Eastern Visayas, of which nine are medical facilities.

Meanwhile, damage to agriculture in Calabarzon, Bicol and Eastern Visayas was placed at PHP186 million. (PNA)
