PH to experience cloudy skies Saturday

MANILA – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought on by the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

In its early morning bulletin on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies will continue to affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA is still monitoring a low pressure area last spotted at 890 km. east of Davao City but is said to have no impact on the present weather condition.

Winds in the eastern section of Mindanao will be light to moderate, headed northeast to north direction, resulting in slight to moderate coastal water conditions with waves of 0.6 meter to 1.5 meters.

Northern and Central Luzon will have light winds with variable headings, resulting in slight coastal water conditions of up to 1.2 meters.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience light to moderate winds going northeast to variable directions, causing slight to moderate coastal waters of up to 1.5 meters.

The temperature forecasts in the country have dipped, with Metro Manila experiencing from 28°C to 36°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 26°C; Tagaytay City, 24°C to 32°C; Legazpi City, 27°C to 33°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 35°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 24°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, at 27°C to 36°C. (PNA)
