Vizcaya brgy placed under total lockdown due to COVID-19

ARITAO, Nueva Vizcaya, May 2 (PIA) – The municipal local government here has put barangay Calitlitan under total lockdown following the emergence of two COVID-19 positive patients.

The emergence of the elderly patient and a 25-year-old villager from the said barangay came as the province was faring as a COVID-19-positive-free for almost a month in April.

The extent of the first patient’s contact traces at more than 80 persons in their community including several workers of the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital (NVPH) in Bambang town where the patient was first admitted,  followed by the second COVID-19 patient prompted municipal officials of Aritao to recommend  the total lockdown status for barangay Calitlitan.
