DOLE NV opens over 3,000 TUPAD slots anew

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 29 (PIA) - A total of 3,188 slots for Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa mga Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) are up for grabs through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) this year.

Gerry Nicolas, acting Labor and Employment Officer said various fund allocations have been poured for its TUPAD in the province.

The various fund allocations are as follows: P3.190 million with 580 slots in all LGUs; P4.5 million with 827 slots in the towns of Kasibu, Alfonso Castaneda and Bayombong; P7.98 million with 1,451 slots in 15 towns; and P1.8 million with 331 slots for 14 LGUs.

"These funding allocations for our TUPAD program totaling to P17.539 million are still open for job applicants. Interested applicants must contact their Public Employment Service Officers (PESOs) in their respective municipalities," Nicolas said.

He said they are now conducting document processing of the TUPAD program applicants. (MDCT/BME//PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
