Cloudy skies with light rains on Wednesday

MANILA -- Cloudy skies with light rains will prevail over parts of Luzon due to the northeasterly surface windflow on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the weather system.

At 3 a.m. a low pressure area (LPA) was spotted at 1,335 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Mindanao and eastern Visayas will have scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24- 33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-24 degrees Celsius; SBMA 24- 32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 23-34 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-32 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
